My spiritual journey began in Johannesburg, where I attended a church service after being invited by my cousin, Mervyn Blignaut, who later went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2025. During that service, a prophetic word was spoken over my life, concerning both my birth and my current season by Pastor John Nielson in June 1982. This encounter had a deep and sobering impact on me, as it was the first time I had ever seen or met the pastor, and I was truly bedazzled by the moment.

On June 4, 1984, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. From 1984 to 1991, I attended Manna Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor F. Webber, where my faith was nurtured and strengthened.

I later relocated to Cape Town and served under Pastor T.W. Blignaut at Emmanuel Mission Church from 1992 to 2004. This was a foundational season in my life, where I was taught the Word of God, received practical training, and gained exposure to the Gospel. During this time, I was actively involved in several ministries, including Sunday School, Youth Ministry, Open-Air and Door-to-Door Ministry, and the Worship Team Ministry.

Alongside my church involvement, I attended Bible School through The Adult Bible Education Program, following The Illinois Bible Training Format, under the principalship of Pastor Brian Herbert, from 1998 to 2003.

From 2004 to 2019, I served under Pastor James Rustin at AFM Grassy Park. Thereafter, I served under Pastor Deon Thole at Kairos Urban Worship Centre, where the church experienced a particularly challenging period during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through every season of my walk with God, I remain encouraged and hopeful. Amidst all circumstances, I continue to place my trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, as I faithfully await His soon return.
